Marley Erickson is an American violinist and prizewinner of numerous international competitions, including the USA National Strings Competition, the Fundacja Young Arts Competition, the Philadelphia International Competition, and the Moscow International Competition. She is also a laureate of the International Louis Spohr Competition, the International Ilona Fehér Competition, and Il Piccolo Violino Magico, and participated in the Menuhin Competition in 2016 and 2018.

She has appeared as soloist with orchestras including the Seattle Symphony, Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Liszt Ferenc Chamber Orchestra, l’Accademia d’Archi Arrigoni, Mitteleuropa Orchestra, Anima Musicae, and Seattle Festival Orchestra. Her performances have taken her to venues including Walt Disney Concert Hall, Benaroya Hall, Paul Hall, Müpa Budapest, and the Grand Hall of the Liszt Academy.

Alongside her work as soloist and chamber musician, Marley has commissioned and premiered numerous works for violin. She has performed across Europe and the United States, and has appeared at festivals including Lockenhaus Chamber Music Festival, Festival Academy Budapest, Tiberius Chamber Music Festival, Arsonore Festival, Festival Kortrijk, and Seattle Chamber Music Festival.

In 2016, at the invitation of John Adams, she performed the North American premiere of Oscar Colomina i Bosch’s Spigl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s Green Umbrella Series at Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Marley is represented by Felix Artist Management in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. She currently studies with Boris Kuschnir at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, after completing her bachelor’s degree at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, where she studied with Kristóf Baráti and Barnabás Kelemen.
