Trio Meran

Piano Trio

Trio Meran is a piano trio based in Austria, founded in 2024 at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz in the class of pianist Chia Chou. The ensemble brings together violinist Marley Erickson, cellist Gabriela Peres, and pianist Vladimir Aćimović.

The trio’s work is rooted in the central piano trio repertoire, with programme proposals including works by Mendelssohn and Beethoven. Its artistic profile combines three distinct international backgrounds: Erickson’s experience as a soloist and chamber musician across Europe and the United States, Peres’s work as a Portuguese cellist active in solo, chamber, and orchestral contexts, and Aćimović’s profile as a Serbian pianist, competition laureate, and researcher.

Gabriela Peres has appeared at festivals including the Orlando Chamber Music Festival, Casa del Quartetto Residency, Milano Musica, Diotima Quartet Academy, Kammermusik Festival Stockholm, and Steirisches Kammermusik Festival. Vladimir Aćimović has performed in more than fifteen countries across Europe and the United States, collaborated with orchestras including the Sofia Philharmonic and Sinfonia Juventus, and recorded for Naxos.

Together, Trio Meran presents itself as a young European chamber ensemble shaped by serious training, international performance experience, and a shared commitment to the piano trio tradition.
